Our Contour Vase is our most labor intensive piece to create. Because of it's compound curves (curving both vertically and horizontally at the same time) it is difficult to apply the mask to the glass without getting lots of wrinkles and air bubbles in it. That combined with the intricate pattern of the birds and some handcutting of the stencil to make each piece work. makes this our most challenging piece. But the final product makes the effort worthwhile. It's gracefully curving lines create a truly uniquely beautiful piece.

As with most of our pieces the design wraps completely around the vase. The design we use on this piece is our backyard bird design which features a wren, a tufted titmouse and a pair of chickadees. The dimensions of the contour vase are 12.5" tall, 4"diameter at top, 6" diameter at center, and 4" diameter at bottom. Price $125.
